I got this deluxe sample with my latest order from Beautybay, which was much appreciated. I have never heard of Emma Hardie before, so I was glad to be introduced to something new.
This is my first time using a cleansing balm, and I have to say it was a bit tricky at first, as it doesn’t truly wash off like a regular cleanser.
At first, words like “lift” and “sculpt” made me think I should probably give it to my mom, but after two tries I was hooked.
The balm is very gentle and calming to the skin. And together with the beautiful scent, it feels a lot like getting a mini facial at home making your skin feel absolutely treated and plump afterwards!
I do recommend getting the Amazing Face Natural Lift and Sculpt Dual Action professional Cleansing Cloths which compliments the balm and are absolutely necessary to help taking the balm off. But any mild face cloth will do.
It’s good at taking off make up, especially if you use it with a muslin cloth. Then you get the duo-process of exfoliation and deep cleanse to take off all of your makeup and impurities.
I’m really impressed by this cleanser, it also can be used as a rescue balm; put it on dry elbows or knees, and even/or as a lip balm. I’ve been also using it as a soothing and hydrating mask. And a little goes a long way!
It’s an expencive product though, but well worth it!
